I am very pleased and excited to announce the release of the film “Beginners” on Friday June 4th 2011! This will be the first major film release in which i am a credited composer! It is a stunning film by acclaimed director Mike Mills. The cast is marvelous and features Christopher Plummer, Ewan McGregor, and Melanie Laurent. Just finished the score for the new Starz mini series “BOSS” starring Kelsey Grammer and directed by Gus Van Sant. It debuts October 21st! I was fortunate enough to work on every episode as a musician/synthesist and have two original pieces licensed for use in two episodes! The second season has already been picked up which is very exciting.
Currently working with the Rhythm Roots All Stars on a new De La Soul record! I am writing and producing with both bands in a collective effort spearheaded by Davey C. form the Rhythm Roots! It promises to be a fantastic record which will hopefully find its way into the world this summer!
I’m also headed to NYC in December to keep working on a new Eide Brickell record with Aaron Comess(Spin Doctors), Charlie Sexton(Bob Dylan), and my good friend Dave Monsey. We’ve been having a blast playing and writing together in the studio on what looks to be a beautiful record.
